Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature and unlimited contracts, and there’s no setup fee. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your plan starts automatically on day 15 with the card you added at sign-up. We’ll email you a reminder 3 days before. To switch plans or cancel, log in to your account and click Manage billing.
Do I need Jobber to use StormOps™?
No. StormOps™ works with or without Jobber. Every company gets the full flow: your pricing, the estimate, e-signatures, and a signed PDF emailed to you and your customer. If you use Jobber, the signed job is also created in Jobber automatically. If you don’t, the signed contract is ready for whatever system you use.
How long does setup take?
Most companies are up and running within one business day. After you sign up, we load your labor and equipment, hourly rates, minimums, debris percentage, fees, and contract, then email you your StormOps™ login link.
Can I set my own rates and minimums?
Yes. Every labor and equipment item has your own hourly rate and minimum, such as a 4-hour or 8-hour minimum, and you can set quantities like two ground workers.
How is debris removal calculated?
It’s a percentage of the tree removal subtotal that you choose. For example, at 20%, an $8,760 job gets a $1,752 debris removal charge.
Can I add my own fees?
Yes. Add fees like an administrative fee, and they show on every estimate and contract as their own line.
How does sales tax work?
Sales tax is added automatically once the customer enters the property address on the signing page. You’re responsible for confirming the tax rules where you work.
How do customers sign?
You send them a secure signing link by email. They enter their own details, property address, and insurance information, then initial, check the agreements, and sign from a phone or computer. You both get the signed PDF by email right away.
Does it work with insurance claims?
Yes. Customers enter their insurance company and claim number when they sign, and your contract can include an assignment of insurance benefits and direct-pay authorization. Have your attorney review that language for your state.
Can I customize my contract terms?
Yes, and you need to. Each company uses its own contract terms in StormOps™, and they’re sent with every estimate. Any contract shown on our website is a sample for demonstration only. Have your attorney review your contract before you use it with customers.
Is there a limit on contracts?
No. Both plans include unlimited contracts.
How do I pay?
Plans are $34.99 a month or $299 a year, with a 14-day free trial and no setup fee. Checkout is handled securely by Stripe, and you can pay by credit card or bank account.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. Log in to your account and click Manage billing.
Can more than one person in my office use it?
Yes. Tell us who needs access when we set up your account, and we’ll get your office team set up.
